Job description

Role Overview

Autobia is hiring a senior, insight-led Product Manager to take ownership of the Marketplace, its B2B spare-parts aggregation business. In this role, you will focus on understanding who the customers are, what problems they face, and how the buying journey should evolve into a polished, consumer-style experience for business buyers.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop a strong understanding of customers by researching buyer behavior and the end-to-end purchase journey, then converting those insights into a clear picture of their needs and pain points.
  • Own the rationale behind product decisions by identifying the most important problems to solve and backing each one with evidence instead of assumptions.
  • Define the vision for the online buying experience, including what excellent looks like for B2B users and how to progress toward that target.
  • Lead discovery work, competitor review, data analysis, customer conversations, and experiments to validate ideas before any build commitment.
  • Use the entire order flow, including supplier purchase orders, inventory, and delivery, to improve the customer experience.
  • Turn insights into well-defined problem statements and a roadmap that product and engineering teams can execute on.

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in product management at a senior level, ideally within e-commerce.
  • A strong product mindset that begins with customer needs and underlying reasons rather than simply managing a backlog.
  • Solid capability in research and discovery methods, including customer interviews, data interpretation, and competitive analysis.
  • Proven experience defining product vision and strategy, not just delivering feature releases.
  • A data-led approach with a strong focus on customer value.
  • Technical fluency and the ability to discuss scope, feasibility, and trade-offs confidently with engineers.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present a clear direction and build alignment.
  • English fluency is required.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with B2B marketplace products.
  • Background in designing or improving online purchasing experiences in e-commerce.
  • Comfort with manual validation approaches before introducing automation.
  • Exposure to internal operations or back-office tools.
