Senior Manager – General Lines

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned General Lines insurance expert based in Qatar to manage a portfolio of corporate clients. This role involves providing expert advice on insurance needs, delivering comprehensive broking services, and offering claims support. The ideal candidate will leverage strong client relationships and technical broking acumen to safeguard client businesses and contribute to Aon's market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research into clients' businesses and risk profiles to develop tailored insurance programs.
• Deliver compelling client presentations, effectively showcasing Aon's solutions and the value proposition of a broker.
• Manage the entire process of structuring, marketing, and placing insurance programs, including preparing documentation, negotiating quotations, comparing terms, and securing coverage, as well as handling mid-term adjustments and renewals.
• Ensure meticulous policy administration and compliance, adhering to KYC/AML regulations (QFCRA and internal policies), managing documentation, endorsements, deadlines, and placement guidelines.
• Oversee and coordinate the claims process, from notification to resolution, liaising with insurers and adjusters to ensure timely progress.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, providing updates on renewals, coverage modifications, and critical policy conditions, exclusions, or warranties.
• Monitor and assist with the collection of premiums and fees in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive revenue growth from both existing and new business opportunities, while cultivating robust relationships with brokers and underwriters.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in insurance broking or corporate insurance client management.
• Exceptional client-facing communication and presentation abilities.
• In-depth technical knowledge of commercial insurance.
• ACII qualification is mandatory.
• A working knowledge of the Qatar regulatory landscape, specifically QFCRA, would be beneficial.
