Role overview
We are looking for a dependable and alert Security Officer to support the safety of a bank branch at Raffles Place. This role calls for someone who can stay composed, pay attention to detail, and deliver courteous service while helping maintain a secure setting for employees, customers, and visitors.
Work schedule
The shift runs from Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00. There is no work on weekends or public holidays.
Key duties
- Manage access to the premises and monitor entry points.
- Respond appropriately during emergencies.
- Observe, identify, and investigate suspicious behaviour or unusual activity.
- Detain offenders when required and make sure all actions are properly recorded.
- Draft accurate and concise incident reports for management and law enforcement.
- Support customers and visitors with directions and assistance.
- Guide visitors through the bank’s queue management process.
- Serve as a professional and polite first point of contact for everyone entering the branch.
Qualifications and experience
Candidates should have at least 3 GCE ‘N’ / ‘O’ Levels or a NITEC qualification. Prior work in a bank branch setting will be considered an advantage. The role also requires strong communication and interpersonal abilities, along with the capacity to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
