About the Internship

We are seeking a skilled Off-Page SEO and Backlink Building Intern to join a comprehensive profile registration and backlink enhancement project. The role focuses on creating and refining professional profiles across a broad range of platforms including business directories, social media, professional networks, classifieds, blogs, bookmarking sites, review sites, forums, and industry-specific portals. The primary objectives are to generate quality backlinks, uphold Name, Address, Phone (NAP) accuracy, and boost visibility on search engines.

This is a full-time, fully remote internship requiring individuals with prior practical experience in profile development, off-page SEO techniques, or backlink strategies who can begin contributing immediately with minimal onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and configure professional profiles across over 50 categories such as directories, social networking sites, listing services, forums, and niche portals for assigned entities.
• Create and tailor concise bios, taglines, descriptions, and keyword-rich content for each profile by leveraging client-provided information.
• Place backlinks accurately directing to the main website or portfolio, ensuring all links are active and correctly positioned.
• Preserve consistent NAP details across all relevant platforms for each entity.
• Upload required visual content including logos and photographs adhering to platform specifications.
• Maintain a comprehensive Excel or Google Sheets tracker encompassing login details, profile URLs, and status flags including created, pending, and verified profiles.
• Submit profiles for indexing or approval where applicable and monitor their verification progress.
• Compile screenshots and necessary documentation to support final audit reports.
• Provide timely weekly and monthly updates on progress relative to assigned batch goals.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be available to work remotely, able to start between 10th September 2026 and 15th October 2026.
• Availability for the entire 3-month internship period is mandatory.
• Relevant prior experience and interest in off-page SEO, backlink building, or profile registration.
• Possess a computer and reliable internet access suitable for remote work.
• Ability to manage repetitive, detail-focused tasks consistently over an extended timeframe.
• Willingness to share previous work samples, portfolios, or URL backlinks, with confidentiality respected if NDAs apply.

Required Skills and Qualities

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with off-page SEO and backlink development methods.
• Experience in setting up profiles on directories, social platforms, and similar sites.
• Competency in writing short-form content such as bios, taglines, and profile descriptions.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet programs like MS Excel or Google Sheets for accurate data tracking.
• Exceptional attention to detail and consistency in data input.
• Effective time management and strong organizational capabilities.

Stipend and Perks

• A monthly stipend of INR 5,000 is offered.
• Successful interns will receive a certificate and a letter of recommendation upon completion.
