Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive Scheduling Coordinator to join our team on a client site within the Semiconductor sector, located in a state-of-the-art facility in Leixlip, County Kildare, Ireland. In this role, you will be instrumental in organizing and scheduling tasks, ensuring adherence to established departmental processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Support the UPW department by managing and planning preventative maintenance (PMs) for technicians and the UPW team.
  • Utilize the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for uploading and tracking PMs.
  • Collaborate closely with operations teams to coordinate scheduled downtime effectively.
  • Ensure that technicians and necessary equipment are available for planned maintenance activities.
  • Monitor and track work orders and schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate permit-to-work systems and strictly follow all safety procedures.
  • Analyze recurring issues to identify trends and potential improvements.
  • Prepare and update stakeholder reports using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Attend meetings with stakeholders and clients to provide updates and gather feedback.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities.
  • Perform other general administrative duties as required.

Skills Required

  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer operating systems and applications, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CMMS software.
  • Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong time management abilities to effectively prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

Education and Experience

  • A Level 7 Business degree is preferred.
  • Essential experience in planning or scheduling within a technical environment.
  • Verification of education, licenses, and certifications will be required as applicable.
