Role overview
Bata Singapore is seeking a Store Manager to take charge of day-to-day store performance in Singapore. This role is focused on operational leadership, team coaching, sales growth, customer experience, and ensuring the store runs in line with company standards.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth running of daily store activities and ensure operations stay on track.
- Guide, energise, and manage the sales team so store targets and individual KPIs are achieved.
- Create and execute initiatives that expand the customer base, raise footfall, and improve overall store profitability.
- Maintain visual merchandising presentation according to company requirements.
- Train and support Sales Associates on product knowledge and service expectations.
- Ensure customers receive a consistently high standard of service and satisfaction.
- Manage store administration and make sure company policies and procedures are followed.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Store Manager or Supervisor, plus a minimum of 4 years in retail overall; experience in Fashion, Sports, or Apparel is preferred.
- Must be available to work 6 days a week, including retail shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Should be self-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly competitive retail setting.
- Needs strong organisational ability, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Must be practical, proactive, and highly motivated.
- Should be people-focused and able to build strong working relationships.
- Must demonstrate solid analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Should be careful, thorough, and detail-oriented.
