Reservations Agent

Role Overview

An Chúirt Hotel, a 4-star property in the Gweedore area of County Donegal, is looking for a courteous and well-organised Reservations Agent to support guest bookings and deliver a smooth pre-arrival experience. This position is centered on guest communication, reservation accuracy, and helping the hotel make the most of every sales opportunity.

What You’ll Do

• Respond to booking queries received by phone, email, and online reservation channels.
• Enter and update reservations accurately in the hotel booking system.
• Share clear information with guests about room types, pricing, packages, and available hotel services.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue by suggesting room upgrades, packages, and other services when suitable.
• Handle booking changes, cancellations, and guest-specific requests with care and accuracy.
• Work closely with the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Sales departments to keep operations running smoothly.
• Keep guest profiles and payment information accurate and up to date.
• Maintain a polished, helpful, and welcoming standard of service throughout every interaction.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous work in hotel reservations, front office, or customer service is an advantage.
• Clear communication and strong people skills.
• Confident and professional phone etiquette.
• Comfortable using computers; experience with hotel booking software is helpful.
• Strong accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
• Able to work on your own as well as collaboratively with others.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, with weekend work if needed; the usual schedule is Monday to Friday.

Contract type: Full-time.

Salary: Starting from €14.15 per hour.

Working pattern: Monday to Friday normally, with weekend shifts if required.
