Overview
This contract role is for a PhD-level engineer based in Canada who can work remotely for 10 to 40 hours per week. The position offers hourly compensation in the range of $80 to $90.
What you will do
- Produce well-supported written answers to advanced engineering questions within your subject-matter area.
- Read and evaluate scientific publications to add up-to-date, accurate context to technical work.
- Create and describe realistic experimental setups grounded in advanced engineering concepts.
- Work with data, draw conclusions, and use those findings to help shape AI training datasets.
- Use advanced calculus and quantitative techniques to solve technical problems.
- Submit work that is complete, precise, and aligned with the provided instructions.
What the role calls for
- Substantial hands-on experience in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Proven capability in calculus, data interpretation, research methods, and experimental planning.
