About the Role
We are looking for a detail-focused, self-driven remote Research Assistant / Data Entry Education Clerk to support educational research and database management on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work from home and help collect, verify, organize, and maintain data that supports education-related projects and decision-making. The position suits someone who can work independently, stay organized, and handle a fast-moving workload with precision.
Qualifications
- An associate degree or bachelor’s degree in a relevant area, or comparable professional experience
- Prior background in research, data entry, or a similar administrative role
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Careful attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools and data entry systems
- Ability to manage tasks independently and work efficiently with time limits
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Exposure to educational programs or initiatives is a plus
Responsibilities
- Collect research data from online databases, websites, publications, and other relevant sources
- Record information into databases accurately and efficiently
- Review, correct, and refresh existing records to keep data consistent and reliable
- Work with the education team to understand and prioritize data requirements
- Help create and improve tools and processes used for collecting data
- Prepare reports and review data to share insights and recommendations
- Protect sensitive information and maintain confidentiality and security standards
- Keep current with best practices, trends, and methods in research and data management
