Remote Project Coordinator

About the Role

TEKsystems is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join a dynamic team focused on telecom and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for an organized individual who excels in collaborative environments and is dedicated to ensuring project success. The position is fully remote, supporting standard business hours within the Alaska Time Zone, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities, including managing materials, inventory, and workflow tracking.
• Maintain and update all essential project documentation, such as schedules, drawings, permits, and charters.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and report on operational issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, site acquisition teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure project timelines are met.
• Track circuit orders, purchase orders, and the delivery of project materials.
• Ensure all project documentation adheres to regulatory and company compliance standards.
• Audit and validate site and project data for accuracy.
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings and coordinating travel arrangements.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination, construction, telecom, inventory/warehouse management, or a closely related field.
• At least 1 year of professional office environment experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving work setting.
• Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to solve problems.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and professional development.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• An Associate’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Certifications within the Telecom Industry.
• Experience utilizing project tracking systems and performing data validation.
• Prior experience supporting telecom or infrastructure projects.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract position. While the job posting mentions Portland, OR as the base, the role is fully remote.

Pay And Benefits

The hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $25.00 to $30.00. Eligibility for benefits may vary based on job classification and tenure.
