This position sits within the Collateral Management (CMS) team, a nationwide technology platform that supports lien and registration services, recovery services, and insolvency management solutions for Canadian lenders.
Role overview
The Registry Agent handles client requests across multiple registries in Canada and the USA. The position includes search and registration work in line with client service agreements, provincial registration processing, manual data entry where needed, weekly billing and invoice creation, and uploading EFT files for payments.
Core responsibilities
- Work through internal and external systems, monitor assigned queues, and complete transactions within service targets and established turnaround times, making sure priorities and procedures are followed.
- Accurately bill client requests while following client pricing schedules and government disbursement requirements.
- Carry out daily duties to required processing standards, maintaining accuracy and compliance with company practices.
- Respond to incoming calls quickly and communicate with clients in a professional, service-focused manner.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and help raise service quality.
- Support colleagues and clients as needed, escalate issues appropriately, and look for ways to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
A post-secondary education is required.
Skills and experience
- Strong attention to detail and accurate typing speed of 40 words per minute.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capacity to juggle multiple tasks, troubleshoot issues, research information, and follow instructions carefully.
- Sound analytical thinking and judgment for moderately complex processes.
- Comfort working under pressure in a high-volume environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of provincial real property searches.
- Knowledge of provincial corporate services and Bank Act services.
- Familiarity with relevant provincial government websites.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ease in navigating websites and different applications.
- Customer service background is an advantage.
- Experience in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment is an asset.

Compensation and benefits
The base salary range for this role is CAD 37,000 to CAD 38,000 per year. The overall compensation package may also include benefits, bonus opportunities, and other employee offerings, with the final offer potentially adjusted based on skills, experience, location, and market conditions.
