Role overview
As a Recruiter at Vitae.ai, you will help translate hands-on hiring expertise into a scalable, subscription-based AI recruitment service. This position is centered on managing sourcing and screening from start to finish while collaborating with internal teams building an all-in-one operating system designed to help recruiters work more efficiently with AI-enabled workflows. You will report to the recruiting lead and partner with Talent Acquisition stakeholders across delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the entire hiring process from intake to offer, including understanding role needs, aligning on requirements, and coordinating each hiring stage.
- Build and execute targeted sourcing plans across relevant channels to create strong pipelines for current and future openings.
- Carry out first-round screenings and structured evaluations to check experience, skill fit, motivation, and overall suitability against defined criteria.
- Organize candidate progress and scheduling end to end, ensuring applicants stay informed and next steps are clearly communicated.
- Work closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to sharpen scorecards, interview plans, and selection criteria so decisions are better aligned.
- Share shortlists in a decision-ready format, highlighting candidate strengths, gaps, and recommendation points supported by evidence.
- Keep ATS records and recruiting documentation accurate so reporting data remains complete and useful for ongoing process improvement.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of recruiting experience with demonstrated ownership of sourcing, screening, coordination, and closing across the full cycle.
- Prior 360 recruiting agency experience is strongly preferred, showing responsibility for both building pipelines and moving candidates through the process.
- Strong ability to use structured screening methods and convert role expectations into clear, measurable evaluation criteria.
- Hands-on experience with an ATS and recruiting reporting workflows, including pipeline tracking, stage conversion monitoring, and activity logging.
- Capability to manage multiple requisitions, collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and maintain consistently strong candidate communication.
- Preferred exposure to technical hiring, especially roles in software engineering, data, or IT.
- Exposure to recruiting automation or AI-supported workflows is a plus, including tools used for outreach, screening, or documentation.
- Comfort operating in a subscription or service-delivery model where timelines, quality, and throughput are actively monitored.
