Job Summary
CAI is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join their People Solutions Team, specifically to support Mission Critical Hiring in North America. This role will concentrate on sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for critical positions within data centers, infrastructure, engineering, and operations. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience recruiting in fast-paced, high-demand sectors and a solid understanding of the unique demands of mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to thoroughly understand the technical requirements, team dynamics, and specific expectations for mission-critical roles, such as data center engineers, critical facilities managers, project managers, and MEP engineers.
- Design and implement innovative sourcing strategies to cultivate diverse pipelines of qualified candidates through extensive networking, research, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, encompassing candidate screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and support for candidate onboarding.
- Maintain a comprehensive and current understanding of the mission-critical industry, including emerging workforce trends, compensation benchmarks, and the competitive landscape.
- Ensure an outstanding candidate experience by maintaining clear communication, providing timely feedback, and upholding transparency throughout the entire recruitment process.
- Develop and establish an internship program in collaboration with local technical schools and universities, targeting junior and senior students.
- Contribute to long-term workforce planning initiatives by identifying opportunities to convert successful interns into entry-level hires.
- Work closely with People Solutions and hiring teams to guarantee adherence to company policies and all relevant employment regulations.
- Monitor and report on key recruiting metrics, including pipeline health, time-to-fill, and overall hiring success rates.
Qualifications
- Possess 3-5 years of recruitment experience, with a minimum of 2 years specifically focused on mission-critical, data center, or closely related technical industries.
- Demonstrate a proven capacity to identify and attract high-caliber technical and operations talent within competitive markets.
- Exhibit strong familiarity with recruiting tools, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and various sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Lever, and Indeed.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
- Be capable of managing multiple job requisitions and diverse stakeholders within a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Maintain strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to follow-through.
