About the Role
FedEx is seeking a dedicated Ramp Handler to join their operations team in Nairobi. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient completion of operational tasks at station or hub locations. You will be involved in various activities including sort operations, tracking, reporting, and ULD handling, contributing to the overall success of air operations and adherence to established procedures and audits.
Responsibilities
- Execute specific operational tasks at station or hub locations.
- Perform sort activities to manage shipments effectively.
- Conduct tracking and reporting for location-based operations.
- Handle Unit Load Devices (ULDs) with care and precision.
- Contribute to Ramp/Air Operations, including adherence to Policies & Procedures and participation in audits.
Requirements
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities.
- Effective problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
