About the Role

AECOM is hiring a Quantity Surveyor in Singapore to support infrastructure and building projects with end-to-end cost and contract management. The role involves working across feasibility, estimating, procurement, contract administration, valuations, and reporting while partnering closely with clients, consultants, architects, and project teams.

As part of a global infrastructure consulting business, you will contribute to projects that improve communities and deliver long-term value across the built environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review client needs and carry out feasibility studies to support project planning.
  • Participate in site and consultant meetings, coordinating with clients, architects, and associate consultants on project administration matters.
  • Study drawings and technical specifications to build cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans.
  • Measure and quantify architectural, structural, and infrastructure work items.
  • Prepare tender and contract documentation for main building works, piling works, and nominated subcontract packages.
  • Handle pre-contract and post-contract activities, including variation assessments and interim valuation preparation.
  • Draft and complete contract documents in line with applicable building regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Assess completed work, support payment processing, and advise on contractual claims.
  • Perform cost studies for repair and maintenance scopes.
  • Review project results and prepare detailed progress updates and reports.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, or an equivalent qualification is required.
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in pre-contract and post-contract work within consultancy or main contractor settings.
  • Experience with building or infrastructure projects would be advantageous.
  • Strong motivation, a results-focused mindset, and commitment to both the company and its clients are expected.
  • Ability to solve problems and apply prior experience to typical project situations.
  • Willingness to guide and support junior team members.
  • Careful work habits, including checking deliverables before submission.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively and complete unfamiliar tasks with guidance.
