Role Summary

The Quality Inspector will support the site quality function by carrying out laboratory quality control activities with accuracy and consistency. The role focuses on following Good Laboratory Practices so that test results are timely, reliable, and suitable for decisions on whether raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products should be accepted, released, or rejected for both internal and external customers.

Key Duties

  • Carry out quality control activities within the site quality department.
  • Ensure Good Laboratory Practices are followed at all times.
  • Produce accurate and timely laboratory test results.
  • Support decisions on accepting, releasing, or rejecting raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods.

Required Profile

  • A bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Science, or a closely related scientific field.
  • Fluency in English.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a food testing laboratory.
  • Practical knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and laboratory quality management systems.
  • Understanding of analytical method validation, verification, and quality control methods.
  • Experience with sample preparation methods and monitoring instrument performance.
  • Awareness of food safety and regulatory rules for contaminants and residues.
