Job description

Role Overview

This position is with IFF, a worldwide company focused on flavors, fragrances, food ingredients, and health and biosciences. The organization is committed to sustainable innovation that improves everyday products and supports both people and the planet.

The role is located in Sri City, India, and sits within Global Business Services, a function designed to provide efficient, scalable support that strengthens service quality, compliance, and operational effectiveness across the business.

What You Will Do

  • Use sensory and organoleptic evaluation expertise to assess product quality consistently.
  • Apply sensory profiling methods to review and compare product characteristics.
  • Support new product formulations and product improvements through evaluation work.
  • Help maintain strong sensory standards that contribute to customer satisfaction and market performance.
  • Work closely with global teams to influence quality outcomes and business success.

Required Experience and Education

  • You should hold a science degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a closely related field.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Quality Control, Sensory Evaluation, or Product Testing in the Food & Beverage sector is required.
  • Experience with beverage sensory evaluation is strongly preferred.
  • Background exposure to quality assurance or product development environments will be an added advantage.
