Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Scheduler to join our Automation Program Management Office. This role will be instrumental in managing large-scale automation project schedules for a significant client project located in Lebanon, IN. The position is remote, allowing candidates from anywhere in the United States to apply. Occasional travel to the client site (approximately 5 days every 2 months) will be required, particularly during the basic and detailed design phases. There is also potential for full-time onsite engagement during construction and verification activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive automation project schedules.
  • Integrate schedules from vendors and system integrators into the master automation schedule.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the automation schedule with the overall project schedule.
  • Conduct regular reviews of the critical path, schedule details, deviations, use of dependencies and lags, constraints, and key milestones.
  • Generate and manage schedule-related metrics, dashboards, and reports.
  • Liaise with automation project managers and other stakeholders to gather schedule updates.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly progress reports for stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management support within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Previous experience supporting automation projects in the pharmaceutical sector is essential.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel for tracking, analyzing, and visualizing schedule Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Familiarity with the various phases of process automation projects within capital project environments.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong aptitude for data management and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Robust networking and interpersonal skills.
