Job description
About the Role
This position sits within a newly formed change management function in the New York City office. The work supports the firm’s ongoing expansion and need for greater adaptability. It is an internal-facing role responsible for managing current initiatives that strengthen client service capabilities, while also helping design new systems that make core operations more efficient and scalable across departments. The role fits someone who enjoys thinking critically, balancing long-term objectives with hands-on delivery, and working in an environment that values collaboration, curiosity, leadership, and high-quality execution.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and deliver firm-wide projects by aligning work with strategic objectives, monitoring progress, and solving problems to keep outcomes on schedule.
- Coordinate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and address cross-functional gaps or risks early.
- Prepare project materials such as visuals, status updates, reports, and presentation content.
- Run meeting workflows, including scheduling sessions, drafting agendas, and managing follow-up actions.
- Improve project processes by using technology to simplify work and support firm-wide business intelligence tools such as dashboards.
- Handle audit software migration efforts, including coordination across teams, support for training plans, and development of standard templates.
- Own audit-related communications and monthly updates for leadership.
- Support central service operations by building project processes and tracking methods that help leaders plan and execute work more effectively.
- Work with stakeholders through activities such as pre-launch impact reviews and post-implementation interviews to gather insights that improve rollouts and ongoing operations.
- Maintain the online transformation resource hub by creating templates and tools that strengthen project and change management and promote collaboration across the firm.
Ideal Background
The employer is looking for someone with 3 to 5 years of end-to-end project leadership experience in a professional services setting, ideally with change management responsibilities built into delivery. Prior team leadership experience of at least 2 years is also preferred. Success in this role requires strong organization, the ability to prioritize and adapt independently, comfort working in a large matrixed environment, and the confidence to build productive relationships with senior stakeholders. A positive mindset toward change, strong written and verbal communication, and an early-warning approach to risk management are important. Familiarity with Microsoft tools is essential, and experience with platforms like SharePoint, Asana, or Smartsheet is a plus. Project or change management certifications such as PMP or Prosci are preferred, and experience in accounting or a related financial services field would be an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay for this role varies by location. In New York City, the salary range is $90,000 to $120,000 per year. The firm also offers a competitive benefits package and a bonus program for eligible positions, with final compensation influenced by the role, location, skills, experience, and qualifications. Additional benefit details are available on the company careers page.
Equal Opportunity
The employer is an equal opportunity organization and considers applicants without regard to protected characteristics under applicable federal, state, or local law.
