Project Coordinator

About the role

JSW Steel USA is looking for a Project Coordinator to help drive the planning, coordination, and delivery of steel pipe manufacturing projects. This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to build hands-on project management experience while partnering with senior leaders, engineering, production, quality, logistics, and customer teams. The position focuses on keeping work on track, within scope, and aligned with safety and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end coordination of steel pipe manufacturing and delivery projects from kickoff to final completion.
• Contribute to planning efforts by helping build schedules, tracking milestones, and aligning resources.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and logistics groups to keep project work moving smoothly.
• Track project status and share progress updates with relevant stakeholders.
• Spot possible risks, delays, or blockers and raise concerns when needed.
• Keep project files, reports, and status documentation accurate and up to date.
• Take part in customer and internal meetings and help close out action items.
• Support adherence to company safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Assist with continuous improvement efforts related to project execution and manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Supply Chain, or a closely related discipline.
• 0 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing, project coordination, operations, or a similar area.
• Strong ability to stay organized, communicate clearly, and solve problems.
• Comfort working across multiple priorities in a fast-moving manufacturing setting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Project, or comparable scheduling software.
• Prior exposure to steel manufacturing, pipe production, or industrial operations is helpful but not mandatory.
• Understanding of API standards, steel pipe specifications, or core project management concepts is an added advantage.
