About the Team
This position sits within the supply chain function and reports to the Senior Supply Chain Manager. It is a key role in production planning and operations, responsible for turning the Master Production Schedule into practical shopfloor plans that can be executed on the ground. The role supports schedule stability, capacity alignment, and on-time delivery performance in line with the company’s operating playbook.
Production schedules are expected to be maintained at daily and hourly detail, with performance tracked against on-time, in-full delivery targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed finite production schedules, taking into account machine capacity, labor availability, shift arrangements, material readiness, changeovers, and sequence limitations.
- Translate the Master Production Schedule into executable shopfloor plans using daily and hourly planning buckets.
- Set sequencing that supports higher throughput and reduced downtime.
- Track adherence to production timing and output quantities across operations.
- Run daily and weekly performance reviews to spot gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Identify capacity limits and production bottlenecks.
- Revise schedules as needed while staying aligned with business priorities.
- Support formal schedule-change governance and approval workflows.
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to address execution risks.
Required Background and Skills
- Strong knowledge of finite scheduling methods, MRP/MPS processes, and capacity planning.
- Advanced ability with Microsoft Excel, Copilot, Outlook, and Teams; experience with Smartsheet is an advantage.
- Prior exposure to ERP/MRP systems.
- Experience in the medical device or CPG sector.
- Familiarity with distribution networks is beneficial.
- Exposure to Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, PLM, and Anaplan systems is helpful.
Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline is typically required, along with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
What You Can Expect
- The opportunity to work closely with technology that is transforming lives.
- A comprehensive benefits package.
- Career growth opportunities in a global environment.
- Access to learning and development resources, including in-house programs and/or tuition reimbursement, where eligible.
- A forward-thinking organization known for innovation and commitment to employees, customers, and communities.
