About the Role
A San Francisco-based client requires a remote, freelance Production Designer for a 4-week project supporting an event in July. This role has the potential for extension based on project demands. The position requires availability for 20-40 hours per week and an immediate start.
Responsibilities
- Develop large-scale print graphics for experiential installations.
- Design custom merchandise (swag).
- Create digital assets, all adhering to an established design system.
- Prepare basic assets and handle logo resizing in various formats.
- Design materials suitable for trade show booths.
- Utilize Miro for all shared project content.
- Work primarily within Adobe Illustrator for design tasks.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a Production Designer or Graphic Designer, with a significant emphasis on print and event-related materials.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Proficiency in using Figma for sharing and storing design assets.
- Familiarity with Cvent is advantageous, although the team is moving away from its use.
- Proven ability to prepare files that meet specific printer requirements.
- Keen eye for detail and a solid grasp of design systems and brand guidelines.
- Capacity to offer creative suggestions while working within existing concepts.
- Experience in a completely remote work environment.
- Excellent organizational abilities, especially in managing design assets.
