Role overview
Monbeef is seeking a cleaner to support its Cooma beef processing facility. This position is central to maintaining a clean, safe and production-ready site so daily operations can begin smoothly and on schedule. The role is hands-on and involves regular cleaning of production spaces and equipment.

Key duties
- Clean production areas, passageways and equipment to the required standard.
- Carry out cleaning tasks in line with schedules, workplace procedures and chemical handling instructions.
- Help ensure work areas are prepared so production can start on time.
- Maintain safety at all times and escalate any hazards or problems.
- Work with supervisors and quality assurance staff to resolve cleaning-related issues.

About the employer
Monbeef is part of Bindaree Food Group’s beef business, operating from paddock to plate. The Cooma plant processes quality beef sourced from south-eastern Australia for customers in Australia and overseas. The facility is a modern hot-boning, halal-certified site producing beef meat and offal for domestic and export markets.
Location
This role is based in Cooma, New South Wales, at the Monbeef processing plant. Cooma is a regional centre at the foothills of the Snowy Mountains, with access to shops, schools, health services and outdoor activities such as fishing, bushwalking and snow trips, while remaining within reach of Canberra. The area offers a relaxed country lifestyle, steady work opportunities and a strong community.
