Role overview
Air Liquide Singapore Private Limited is a major industrial gases business in South-East Asia with a workforce of around 800 specialists supporting the needs of Singapore’s manufacturing sector. This position sits in the Helium Plant production team and focuses on safe cylinder filling, reducing product waste, keeping inventory above the minimum threshold, and working in line with production plans, SOJT/SOPs, and plant safety and quality practices.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for filling cylinders in accordance with standard procedures so that rejects and material losses are kept to a minimum. The role also involves following IMS/ISO requirements, Life Saving Rules (12 LSR), and Quality Principles (10 QP) to uphold plant safety and quality standards.
In addition, you will carry out product analysis, record production output accurately and on time, and help maintain a tidy and well-organized work area through 6S activities and daily Safe Start routines. The job includes basic troubleshooting of equipment and participation in initiatives aimed at improving safety and quality. You will also be expected to contribute as a dependable team member and support the Site Emergency Response Team (CERT).
What the company is looking for
The ideal candidate should have at least an ITE Certificate, SPM, or an equivalent qualification. A background of 1 to 2 years in production within a manufacturing or chemical processing environment is required. The role calls for someone with a strong safety mindset and a clear focus on quality. A valid forklift licence will be considered an advantage.
