Job description

Role overview

An entertainment and media company is seeking a Product Manager to guide product direction and execution for consumer-facing digital experiences and ecommerce platforms. This is a 52-week contract based in Glendale, California. The role is centered on discovery work, roadmap planning, experimentation, and analytics-led decision-making across two active initiatives, including one with a marketing focus on acquisition and retention messaging.

The position calls for a product leader with at least 5 years of experience in digital software development, strong comfort with data and A/B testing, and practical use of analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics. Experience in ecommerce and consumer-facing products is the top priority.

Work setup

This position is based in Glendale, CA. A strict onsite requirement is not in place, but the role does require onsite presence as needed. Candidates should be local and able to commute to the Glendale hub.

Core responsibilities

  • Set and own product strategy for two initiatives using data and discovery insights, including detailed work on banner and placement decisions.
  • Design, launch, and evaluate A/B tests, forming hypotheses that shape product and messaging choices.
  • Use Adobe Analytics and Tableau to review performance data and inform roadmap and strategy decisions.
  • Convert customer and business needs into clear requirements and user stories.
  • Create roadmaps, define outcome measures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile workflow.
  • Support acquisition and retention messaging on the Chase Visa project, with attention to digital placement strategy.
  • Update and manage customer-facing digital content through content management systems.
  • Work closely with partner teams to move ideas from discovery into delivery while maintaining progress across projects.

Required experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of product management experience in digital software development.
  • Strong grounding in experimentation and analytics, including hypothesis-based decision-making and A/B testing.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one analytics platform; Adobe Analytics is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of ecommerce systems and platforms.
  • General understanding of digital experiences and the consumer journey.
  • Working knowledge of Jira.
  • Basic familiarity with content management systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Must be local to Glendale, CA and able to commute to the hub.

Preferred background

  • Experience using Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Contentsquare, or other experimentation tools.
  • Background in consumer-facing services.
  • Exposure to marketing, growth, or lifecycle messaging, especially acquisition and retention.
  • Experience in hospitality and/or technology environments.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet and Confluence.
  • Awareness of design principles and best practices.
  • Understanding of DevOps and test automation principles.

Key working style

  • Uses data and hypotheses to guide decisions rather than relying on instinct alone.
  • Can own strategy while staying close to execution.
  • Communicates clearly in both written and spoken formats.
  • Comfortable balancing business priorities with technical considerations.
  • Highly organized and detail-focused across multiple projects.
  • Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Work environment

The assignment runs for 52 weeks and is primarily onsite when required in Glendale, CA.

The estimated hourly pay range is $57.00 to $62.00. Final compensation may vary based on background, skills, knowledge, and location, and local wage minimums will be followed.
