What you will do
- Run the full procurement cycle for all club departments, with the main focus on kitchen, culinary, food and beverage, and day-to-day operational needs.
- Identify, approach, and negotiate with suppliers in the UAE and internationally to obtain high-quality products on strong commercial terms.
- Build and sustain productive relationships with vendors supplying food, beverages, equipment, operating consumables, and hospitality services.
- Handle purchasing for ingredients, specialist food items, kitchen equipment, smallwares, FF&E, and OS&E.
- Partner with Executive Chefs, F&B leaders, and operational stakeholders to forecast demand and keep supply flowing without interruption.
- Track stock levels and buying patterns to improve inventory control and reduce unnecessary waste.
- Negotiate supply contracts, pricing models, and service agreements.
- Look for savings opportunities while protecting the premium quality expected in a luxury setting.
- Make sure all procurement activity follows company policies, quality expectations, and audit standards.
Experience needed
- At least 5 to 10 years of procurement background in luxury hospitality, private members’ clubs, fine dining, luxury hotels, or premium lifestyle venues.
- Hands-on experience buying food, beverages, culinary items, kitchen equipment, and hospitality operating supplies.
- A well-established supplier network in the UAE hospitality and F&B market is preferred.
- Strong commercial judgment, with solid skills in negotiation and vendor management.
- Background supporting busy, high-end dining operations.
- Prior involvement in pre-opening projects for luxury hospitality or private members’ clubs would be beneficial.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work closely with culinary and operations leadership.
