Processing Officer

About the Role

NZ Post is seeking a dedicated Processing Officer to join their Whangarei Operations Centre. In this role, you will be responsible for sorting, consolidating, and dispatching parcels and freight, ensuring they are ready for courier delivery. This is a permanent, full-time position contributing to the efficient operation of parcel delivery services across New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate, and dispatch parcels and freight.
• Ensure timely preparation of shipments for courier delivery.
• Contribute to the operational efficiency of the Whangarei Operations Centre.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment.

Requirements

• Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm.
• Ability to work as a committed team member, prioritizing safety for yourself and others.
• Physical capability to handle a demanding role, including lifting up to 25kgs.
• Strong attention to detail and good geographical knowledge.
• Must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
