Job description
Role Overview
Join NZ Post at the Wellington Super Depot in Grenada Village as a Processing Officer. In this role, you’ll help keep parcel and freight movement running smoothly by sorting, combining, and preparing items for courier delivery. The position is part of a team-based, fast-moving environment focused on supporting delivery across New Zealand.
Work Schedule and Pay
- Work days: Tuesday through Saturday
- Shift time: 3:00 am to 7:00 am
- Pay rate: $26.75 per hour
- Night rate allowance: an additional $3.29 per hour applies until 6:00 am from July 1
What You’ll Do
You will contribute to the flow of parcels and freight through the depot, making sure items are sorted, consolidated, and dispatched accurately and on time. The role supports courier operations and requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a focus on site safety.

About You
The right person will be reliable, committed to teamwork, and willing to help maintain a safe workplace. This is a hands-on role, so you should be comfortable with physically demanding work and able to lift up to 25 kg. A good eye for detail and solid geographical awareness will also help you succeed.
Eligibility and Conditions
- You must be able to work Tuesday to Saturday from 3:00 am to 7:00 am
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
- Successful candidates will need to pass a drug test and security check
