Role Overview

The company is seeking a dependable Process Operator who prioritizes safety to join its high-performing team in Wiri. The role involves working with highly automated production equipment in a permanent full-time capacity. Only candidates with unrestricted legal permission to work full time in New Zealand can be considered.

Job Details

  • Work location: Wiri
  • Shift pattern: Monday to Friday
  • Working hours: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
  • Employment type: Permanent, full-time
  • Selection steps: Interview, assessment, background screening, pre-employment medical checks, and final decision

What You Will Do

  • Run industrial cooking systems and production-line machinery.
  • Manage highly robotic equipment that fills snack products into packets and cartons.
  • Enter, track, and report data accurately in computer-based systems.
  • Make sure flavour checks are completed properly and the correct flavour is used for each production run.
  • Carry out quality inspections as needed while handling materials and waste control.

Experience and Qualifications

Applicants should bring practical background in processing, food manufacturing, industrial kitchens, or cooking environments. A solid working knowledge of HACCP and GMP is important, along with a dependable history of safe working practices. The role also calls for good mechanical understanding, careful attention to detail, a strong focus on safety, and consistent reliability. You should be comfortable contributing as part of an efficient food production team, supporting food safety goals, and building a long-term career in food manufacturing at Bluebird.
