Role overview

Join an entrepreneurial private equity platform focused on building value in ambitious mid-market businesses. Based in Munich, this role is suited to a driven investment professional who can contribute across sourcing, execution, and post-investment value creation.

The team is looking for someone with 2 to 6 years of experience and a background in consulting, corporate finance, M&A, or private equity, ideally with hands-on exposure to improving business performance and creating value in portfolio companies.

Key responsibilities

  • Be involved in the entire investment process, from finding and reviewing opportunities through to deal execution and supporting value creation after investment.
  • Study markets and business models to spot attractive investment opportunities across a range of sectors.
  • Own analytical workstreams related to commercial and financial due diligence, valuation, and assessment of business plans.
  • Work closely with portfolio management teams on strategic and operational initiatives aimed at improving growth and efficiency.
  • Help build value creation plans, track performance, and support the execution of add-on acquisitions.
  • Develop concise, decision-ready materials for internal discussions and investment committee reviews.

Candidate profile

  • 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, corporate finance, M&A, or private equity.
  • Experience with value creation, turnaround, or performance improvement work is preferred.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling capability, combined with sound commercial judgment.
  • Self-starting, entrepreneurial, and comfortable taking responsibility in a lean, fast-moving environment.
  • Clear communicator with strong presentation skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
  • Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
  • Ambitious, practical, and curious, with the aspiration to grow into a leadership position.
