Job description
Role overview
This full-time, on-site position is based in Ummahat Islands 2-3, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. It sits within the Golf, Fitness, & Entertainment category and is a non-management role.
What you will do
- Keep the pool deck clean by washing, mopping, and maintaining the area.
- Create a lively, welcoming environment for guests taking part in recreation activities.
- Watch activity in the leisure area and take the correct action if an emergency occurs, following local operating procedures.
- Enforce recreation facility rules and help prevent unsafe participation in activities.
- Alert a supervisor or manager when a guest may not be safe to continue an activity.
- Support injured guests until emergency medical help arrives.
- Collect, fold, and stack towels according to company process.
Safety and workplace standards
- Report incidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management.
- Complete required safety training and certifications.
- Follow company policies, procedures, quality expectations, and standards.
- Maintain a neat, professional appearance and respect confidentiality and company property.
- Greet all guests warmly, recognize their needs, and assist guests with disabilities when needed.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, build positive working relationships, and read information accurately across different formats.
- Inspect tools, equipment, and machines for defects as needed.
- Use computers and/or point-of-sale systems to enter and retrieve work-related information.
- Handle physical duties that may include lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds, working on slippery or uneven surfaces, using stairs or ramps, and bending, twisting, reaching, or stooping.
- Carry out other reasonable duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No prior work experience is required.
- No supervisory experience is required.
- CPR certification is required.
- First aid certification is required.
- Fitness equipment certification is required.
- Any additional certification or training required by local or state authorities must be met.
