Job description
Role Overview
Quest Global is looking for a Playwright Automation professional to strengthen its quality engineering efforts for AWS cloud-deployed solutions. The role focuses on building reliable automated test coverage across UI and API layers, with an emphasis on maintainable frameworks, modern testing practices, and strong technical problem-solving.
Technical Expertise
- Practical experience working with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks.
- Hands-on capability in automating UI and API tests using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Exposure to GenAI productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve testing and automation output.
- Strong background in system-level or device-side testing, along with working knowledge of Linux environments.
- Awareness of AWS services is considered an added advantage.
- Ability to approach testing problems with originality and creative thinking.
- Good understanding of core testing concepts, including SDLC, STLC, Agile practices, BDD techniques, and shift-left testing.
- Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks for solutions deployed on AWS Cloud.
- Comfortable contributing in an Agile delivery environment.
- Experience defining test strategy and building test automation frameworks.
- Capability to create and run dependable automation for acceptance, functional, and regression test scenarios.
- Knowledge of source control tools such as Perforce, SVN, and Git, along with CI/CD tools and workflows including Jenkins, Artifactory, debugging utilities, and emulators.
- Strong troubleshooting ability with the confidence to identify, explain, and resolve technical issues.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to take ownership of smaller tasks and complete them independently while knowing when to ask for support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to discuss technical topics clearly.
Eligibility
Candidates with a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization are eligible to apply.
