Plant Maintenance Engineer

Role Overview

This position is for a Plant Maintenance Engineer based in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on keeping equipment and machinery running smoothly through planned maintenance, rapid fault resolution, and continuous reliability improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventive upkeep as well as corrective repairs so plant equipment remains dependable and efficient.
• Identify faults, investigate root causes, and put practical maintenance actions in place to reduce interruptions and downtime.
• Review operational data to spot recurring issues, assess performance patterns, and recommend improvements that strengthen equipment reliability.
• Work closely with production staff, leadership, and suppliers to plan and execute maintenance activities aligned with business priorities.
• Make sure all maintenance work follows safety requirements, and actively look for ways to reduce potential hazards.
• Prepare and update technical records, drawings, schematics, and procedures that support day-to-day maintenance work.
• Take part in continuous learning and development programs to keep technical skills current.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
• Good grasp of engineering fundamentals along with familiarity with machinery and equipment.
• Ability to analyze information, troubleshoot issues, and develop workable solutions.
