Job description

Role overview

This remote contract opportunity is for a physics specialist who will contribute subject-matter expertise to the development of next-generation AI systems. The work focuses on supplying accurate, well-reasoned physics input that helps improve how models learn, reason, and respond. Prior experience in artificial intelligence is not necessary; strong domain knowledge in physics is the main requirement.

What you will do

  • Examine, interpret, and condense advanced physics articles, documents, and research papers.
  • Develop and quality-check physics questions and problem sets across a broad range of topics for model training.
  • Identify relevant data, carry out detailed calculations, and verify analytical answers in different areas of physics.
  • Write clear, structured explanations and solution rationales for technical physics problems.
  • Work with a distributed, multidisciplinary team while managing your tasks independently.
  • Apply deep subject expertise to keep all generated or reviewed material precise and technically sound.
  • Maintain consistent quality while meeting ongoing deadlines and deliverables.

Experience and qualifications

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in physics or a closely related discipline, gained in academia or a laboratory/work environment.
  • Excellent English writing and speaking skills, along with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfort with reading, analyzing, and synthesizing technical documents and research literature.
  • Background in creating, editing, or reviewing scientific questions, exam content, or technical exercises.
  • Ability to stay self-directed and productive in a remote setting with limited supervision.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills for data assessment and calculations.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to balance several tasks efficiently.

Preferred background

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Physics or a related subject.
  • Exposure to AI, EdTech, or digital content projects.
  • Experience working across multiple scientific disciplines and in collaborative workflows.

Additional details
