Job Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately, maintain updated profiles, and input prescription history into the pharmacy system.
• Prepare, label, package, and ship prescription medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Address inquiries from healthcare providers and patients, escalating clinical questions to the pharmacist as needed.
• Manage pharmacy inventory and packaging supplies, coordinating medication orders with wholesalers and manufacturers.
• Ensure precise documentation and maintain data integrity across all pharmacy systems and processes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, with a minimum age of 18 years.
• At least one year of prior experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Exceptional attention to detail for medication handling, labeling, and data entry.
• Fluent and professional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining organization and focus.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software and digital tools; experience with Kroll is highly desirable.
• Strong commitment to following health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe workspace.

Additional Information

This position is located near Derry Rd. & Airport Rd. in Mississauga, Ontario. The role requires flexible availability for rotation between weekday and weekend shifts, operating from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
