Job description
Overview
Qureos is hiring a Payroll Associate for its Doha, Qatar office. This is a full-time, on-site role suited to someone who is careful, well-organized, and comfortable working with payroll operations, employee records, and compliance requirements.
What you’ll do
- Run the monthly payroll cycle with accuracy and within deadlines.
- Keep payroll files and employee information up to date.
- Check attendance, leave, overtime, and other payroll-related inputs before processing.
- Work in line with company rules as well as applicable labor regulations.
- Partner with HR and Finance to resolve payroll matters and coordinate related tasks.
- Respond to employee payroll questions and correct any discrepancies.
- Support payroll reports and audit preparation.
What we’re looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a similar discipline.
- About 1 to 3 years of experience handling payroll, ideally in a similar role.
- Strong accuracy, with good attention to detail and number handling.
- Comfort using MS Excel and payroll software or systems.
- Clear communication and solid organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of labor laws and payroll compliance is beneficial.
