Outside Recovery Associate

Overview

The Outside Recovery Associate supports the store’s outdoor merchandising area and helps keep the exterior of the location organized, appealing, and ready for customers. A major part of the role is helping shoppers load purchased items into their vehicles, while also handling outdoor zoning, pricing support, cart recovery, unloading delivery trucks, and maintaining a welcoming front-of-store appearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with loading purchases into their vehicles and provide a smooth load-out experience.
• Collect signatures on load-out tickets to verify completed transactions.
• Carry out safe customer load-outs from the store to vehicles.
• Follow the Outdoor Merchandising Guide to keep exterior displays consistent, shop-ready, and easy to maintain.
• Help ensure product pricing is accurate and customer-friendly.
• Keep the parking lot, cart corral, and assigned outdoor spaces clean and orderly.
• Zone outdoor areas such as load lanes, nurseries, bullpens, and front walkways whenever time allows.
• Use standard office tools and systems such as telephones, copiers, fax machines, calculators, and computers.
• Operate retail and material-handling equipment, including a Telxon gun, forklift, pallet jack, ladder, and related tools.
• Support cross-training efforts so you can work across different departments as needed.
• Take part in training sessions, workshops, and webinars to build skills and stay informed.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and professional support to coworkers and customers.

• Complete additional tasks as assigned.

• Close vision for computer-related tasks.
