About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Office Housekeeper to join our head office team in Bristol. This role is crucial for the daily operations of our office, ensuring a clean, organized, and well-maintained workspace that promotes a positive and efficient environment for our staff. The position is permanent, requiring 40 hours per week, with flexibility in working hours to accommodate core business needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning duties, including vacuuming and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces and workstations, emptying bins, and dusting.
- Maintain the cleanliness of entrance areas to ensure a presentable first impression.
- Conduct daily deep cleaning of toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
- Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy, including surfaces, appliances, tables, and chairs.
- Manage the dishwasher, loading and unloading as needed.
- Regularly dispose of outdated food from refrigerators and maintain the coffee machine, including stocking, cleaning, and running system cycles.
- Maintain bathroom and shower room cleanliness and ensure they are adequately stocked with supplies.
- Monitor and manage stock levels for cleaning products, toiletries, and kitchen supplies, liaising with company EAs for reordering.
- Receive, log, and store incoming deliveries of supplies.
- Stock the vending machine as needed.
- Collect and distribute incoming post and accept/log deliveries, notifying relevant teams.
- Handle deliveries promptly and allocate them to appropriate storage areas.
- Report daily to the Executive Assistant, communicating any concerns, stock needs, or issues.
- Keep storage and communal spaces tidy and free from clutter.
- Identify and report any damage, hazards, or necessary repairs.
- Assist with the setup and clear-down of meeting rooms.
- Manage the office ventilation and heating systems to ensure an optimal temperature for staff.
- Note: Scope and duties may be adjusted during festival build and show periods, with advance discussion.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a housekeeping, cleaning, or facilities management role is preferred.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Possess good communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Comfortable performing manual tasks, including lifting and moving supplies.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile.
- While specific experience in festivals or events is not mandatory, adaptability and a can-do spirit are highly valued.
