Network Engineer

Role overview

This role is focused on network engineering support across datacenter and regional environments, with responsibility spanning operations, delivery, and project execution. The position is based in Singapore and involves supporting both Singapore and Hong Kong datacenter networks, as well as broader Asia regional network initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Handle network change management and day-to-day operational support for datacenters in Singapore and Hong Kong.
• Oversee regional network and solution delivery activities across Asia.
• Take ownership of assigned regional network projects and ensure they are completed effectively.
• Support customer-facing WAN and LAN network operations.
• Provide assistance for Layer 3, Layer 4, and network security-related issues.
• Maintain and support data, voice, and video network environments.
• Carry out project coordination and related internal process management tasks.

Requirements

• A degree in Information Technology, Network Administration, or a similar field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in network engineering, operations support, or project support.
• Practical, hands-on exposure to both network operations and project participation.
• Working knowledge of switches, routers, wireless networking, firewalls, VPNs, and QoS.
• Solid understanding of how network architecture is designed and implemented.
• Background in ISP network planning and installation.
• Experience supporting datacenter operations and providing technical assistance to customers.
• Familiarity with system monitoring and backup tools.
• Availability to travel within Asia Pacific or provide on-site support when needed.
• Self-driven attitude with a strong willingness to keep learning and contribute long term to the organization.
• This is an office-based position at Tai Seng Ave.
