Job description
About the Company
MultiFit Wellness is a rapidly expanding fitness brand that started in the United Kingdom in 2015 and later grew into India and the UAE. It is centered on a lively community of fitness-minded people who see exercise as part of everyday life. The organization aims to keep its spaces welcoming for people across all fitness levels while encouraging confidence, motivation, and long-term wellness. Its focus is on delivering dependable, high-quality fitness experiences, strengthening relationships with members, and extending its presence to more communities worldwide.
Role Overview
This is a full-time, in-person opportunity in Salem with openings across fitness, member experience, and center operations. Based on the role assigned, responsibilities may include leading one-on-one or group workout sessions, showing correct exercise form, and helping maintain a safe training space. The position may also involve greeting and onboarding members, responding to queries, sharing basic fitness guidance, and keeping the floor environment encouraging and energetic.
Depending on the specific assignment, the job can also include class scheduling, support for day-to-day center operations, cleanliness checks, equipment readiness, event support, and promotional activities that help strengthen the MultiFit Wellness community. Some roles may additionally contribute to local marketing efforts, retention activities, and gathering feedback to improve the member experience.
Qualifications and Expectations
Applicants should have a genuine interest in health, fitness, and wellness, along with the ability to connect with and encourage people from different backgrounds and fitness levels. Prior exposure to customer service, member relations, or hospitality is useful, especially when supported by clear, courteous, and professional communication.
Good planning and time-management skills are needed to manage schedules, classes, and routine operational duties efficiently. Candidates must be comfortable working on-site in a fast-moving environment, which may include early mornings, evenings, or weekend shifts. Fitness-related certifications, such as training, group exercise, or physical education credentials, are beneficial, though a willingness to work toward them is also valued.
Basic computer proficiency is required for member records, scheduling systems, and internal communication tools. Experience in a gym, studio, sports, or wellness environment is preferred but not essential for every role. Teamwork, initiative, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful space are important.
Additional Information
This opening may cover several role types within the same center, so exact duties can vary depending on the position assigned. Working hours may include early morning, evening, or weekend schedules based on operational needs.
