About the Company
Publicis Productions is the production arm of Publicis Groupe, creating premium content across film, motion, and digital channels. The team blends creative thinking with technology to deliver visually strong brand stories at scale. From Sydney, the studio works closely with major agencies and international clients in entertainment, luxury, and technology.
The Role
The Multimedia Studio Designer plays a key role within the core agency team. This is a busy, deadline-driven studio where creative standards, precision, and strong output matter every day. The team is looking for an experienced designer with solid production skills, strong problem-solving ability, and a sharp eye for detail to join the Sydney office.
In this role, you will take creative ideas and turn them into polished, production-ready assets for campaigns across print, press, out-of-home, digital out-of-home, digital, and social media. Working under the Studio Manager, you will help prepare layouts and final files that are ready for deployment across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert creative concepts into high-quality artwork and final assets for print and digital deliverables, using advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills.
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced studio and use tools such as Figma and Canva to support efficient delivery across channels; HTML knowledge is helpful but not mandatory.
- Follow print and digital production standards to make sure all artwork is accurate, consistent, and ready for execution.
- Handle assigned work with an awareness of budgets, studio resources, materials, and project costs while staying within scope, timeline, and financial limits.
- Balance several briefs at once and adapt to changing priorities without losing creative quality or attention to detail, even under demanding deadlines.
What You Bring
- Strong communication and people skills, with the ability to work well with creative teams across different agencies and at all seniority levels.
- A solid understanding of how work flows through an integrated, fast-moving creative agency from concept to final delivery.
- A practical, solution-oriented mindset and the confidence to solve creative and production challenges efficiently.
- Exceptional precision and a strong commitment to producing error-free work.
- The ability to stay calm, organised, and productive in a high-pressure environment while meeting deadlines reliably.
- Knowledge of print and digital artwork requirements, formats, and production workflows.
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine willingness to contribute to the team culture.
- Interest in new technologies and a desire to use them to improve workflows and the quality of output.
Benefits and Perks
- A comprehensive Wholeself program supporting physical, mindful, and financial wellbeing.
- A lively, creative office environment supported by a flexible working approach.
- Access to the global AI platform Marcel for internal mobility and collaboration opportunities.
- More than 15,000 learning programs through Marcel Classes and other learning and development opportunities.
- Open feedback and career support through the Career Conversations program.
- Commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion through dedicated internal committees.
- Leave benefits including Birthday Leave, Flexible Public Holidays, and an extra 5 days of leave after 2 years of service.
- Work Your World program offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world for up to 6 weeks each year.
- Parental leave benefits including up to 18 weeks of paid primary carer leave based on tenure, secondary carer swap, and Cub Care leave.
- Access to counsellors, psychologists, and other professionals through Sonder for psychological, medical, and safety support.
- Partnerships with Diversity Council Australia, Pride in Diversity, Family Friendly Workplaces, Supply Nation, and the Australian Disability Network.
