Job description

Role overview

This position is for an experienced product leader who can guide a small team, shape clear requirements, and keep delivery moving smoothly in a global, cross-functional setup. The role sits in Hyderabad and is suited to someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Team leadership and capability building

  • Direct and grow a team of product managers and/or product analysts.
  • Coach the team on improving requirement quality, delivery rigor, and stakeholder communication.
  • Put in place common working methods, standard templates, and best practices.
  • Strengthen the team’s product thinking, problem-solving approach, and ownership over time.

Product delivery and execution

  • Work with global product teams to convert product direction into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Make sure requirements are complete and ready for engineering consumption.
  • Support delivery teams during development by clarifying questions and handling dependencies.
  • Oversee testing, validation, and release-readiness tasks.
  • Help ensure demos, releases, and change-related activities run smoothly.
  • Use structured problem-solving to turn vague needs into practical requirements.
  • Own delivery outcomes and help ensure the solution meets the intended goals and quality standards.

Stakeholder collaboration

  • Coordinate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders across different regions.
  • Keep priorities, scope, and timelines aligned across teams.
  • Spot risks, gaps, and dependencies early and push them toward resolution.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree is required, and an MBA is preferred. The role calls for 10+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related field, along with at least 3 years in people leadership. Strong collaboration with engineering teams on requirements and delivery is important, as is comfort working in ambiguous, changing environments with distributed or global teams.

Additional requirements

Experience with product management practices such as roadmap planning and prioritization is expected. Exposure to a Global Capability Center (GCC) or a similar operating model is preferred, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methods will be useful.
