Role Overview

Vaibhav Inter Decor is seeking an experienced Manager for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Execution to oversee projects in Bengaluru. This role is critical for ensuring the successful implementation of MEP services, adhering to project specifications, quality standards, and timelines. The Manager will be responsible for project planning, material management, coordination with various stakeholders, site safety, and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of MEP services for multiple projects, ensuring alignment with contract design documents and client/architect specifications.
• Develop and manage project schedules and material requirements, ensuring timely requests and procurement.
• Verify that all materials used and work performed meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Expedite the approval process for shop drawings and material samples in collaboration with the purchase team.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and project timelines, aiming for 100% quality achievement.
• Identify and communicate any errors, discrepancies, or omissions in design drawings to the consultant/client.
• Liaise effectively with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, quantity surveyors, and site personnel.
• Report any Non-Tender (NT) items to the Quantity Surveying (QS) team with necessary specifications and quantities, proceeding only after confirmed approvals.
• Monitor and enforce site safety regulations, including compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and conducting safety training.
• Ensure the continuous preparation of As-Built drawings and facilitate final project close-outs with consultants.
• Adhere to standard waste management procedures.
• Facilitate smooth project operations through interaction with clients, their representatives, and vendors.
• Conduct weekly meetings with contractors and prepare for client review meetings, including pre-meeting reports on project progress and hindrances.
• Resolve conflicts and interface issues within the project.
• Track project progress against the plan, analyze performance, and implement necessary adjustments.
• Communicate project progress and issues clearly to all team members and establish project priorities.
• Maintain all essential site documentation and prepare required reports for senior management.
• Prepare and supervise the completion of snag lists prior to project handover, obtaining sign-offs and keys.
• Conduct weekly cross-verification of stock levels at stores.
• Provide detailed information and support to the QS team for outward billing and contractor/vendor payment certifications.
• Inform the QS team of any deductions or debits to contractor accounts.
