About the Role

LABGISTICS Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Logistics Manager to join their Logistics Department in Singapore. This pivotal role involves leading the warehousing and supply chain teams to spearhead various projects focused on inventory, warehousing, and supply chain solutions. A key responsibility will be the establishment of a new warehouse, ensuring the implementation of best practices and robust operational frameworks. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal departments to foster a high-performing team, driving the company's strategic and operational objectives. This position reports directly to the General Manager of LABG.

Job Responsibilities

  • Spearhead warehousing and supply chain teams in executing inventory, warehousing, and supply chain solution projects.
  • Contribute to the establishment of a new warehouse, including the deployment of best practices, demand planning, and internal control systems.
  • Oversee the generation and analysis of performance data through scorecards to monitor and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous process improvements, maintain stringent inventory control, and implement cost optimization measures without compromising quality standards.
  • Support project management efforts, coordinating with various departments to ensure the timely completion of project tasks and milestones.
  • Lead and develop a team, including onboarding, training, coaching, setting job expectations, and arranging external training opportunities.
  • Effectively plan, coordinate, and execute all warehouse operations, encompassing secondary assembly and transportation logistics.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous business process improvement that extends beyond project timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate social responsibility policies within warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate closely with Service Quality and Customer Service teams to proactively manage customer expectations.
  • Guarantee that operations comply with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GDP, GMP, and HSA regulations.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with national guidelines.
  • Conduct safety and health risk assessments, reviewing methodologies for managing dangerous goods and hazardous materials.
  • Assist in Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes and business development initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • Possess experience in 3PL/warehousing/4PL distribution within the medical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors.
  • Have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in a warehousing environment, preferably with GDP certification and familiarity with ISO13485/ISO9001 standards.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in warehouse management system software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exhibit strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Be a highly responsible individual with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Show a proven track record of effective team leadership.
