- Coordinate with local authorities for shutdowns, crossings, and other critical site activities, including securing the required permissions.
- Maintain strong collaboration with internal stakeholders to support integrated project delivery.
- Track budgets, manage resource deployment, and monitor cash flow to keep spending within approved financial limits.
- Control project costs by reviewing actuals against budget and limiting avoidable additional expenses.
- Identify operational and safety risks early through site inspections and proactive planning, then mitigate them before they affect progress.
- Improve execution efficiency by using modern project management tools for real-time tracking of progress and resources.
- Adopt relevant technologies and methods that can improve outcomes and make delivery more cost-effective.
- Set clear expectations for the engineering team, monitor performance, and help the team meet productivity and operational goals.
- Identify training requirements and support ongoing learning to build technical and leadership capability.
- Create a cooperative, performance-oriented work environment by handling conflict constructively and encouraging respectful communication.
