Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position in Jabalpur for a Lead Generator focused on backhoe loaders. The role is centered on finding, assessing, and nurturing potential customers through field visits, phone outreach, referrals, and local market study.

What You Will Do

  • Identify prospective buyers for backhoe loaders through direct market visits, tele-calling, referrals, and territory research.
  • Qualify leads and maintain an updated record of prospects and activity details.
  • Work closely with the sales team to arrange follow-ups, product demonstrations, and customer site visits.
  • Assist with pre-sales efforts that help move prospects further down the sales funnel.
  • Collect insights on competitors, market movement, and customer demand in the assigned area.
  • Log daily work progress, outcomes, and key observations for reporting purposes.
  • Prepare simple updates and reports for supervisors and sales leadership.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with prospects, dealers, and local influencers while representing the company’s brand and values.

Requirements

  • Hands-on exposure to lead generation, tele-calling, or field sales support, ideally within construction equipment, heavy machinery, or similar industrial sectors.
  • Strong verbal communication, interpersonal ability, and customer-handling skills.
  • Working knowledge of backhoe loaders, construction equipment, and infrastructure-related use cases, or the willingness to learn quickly.
  • Ability to do structured market research, map territories, and keep accurate lead and activity records using basic digital tools or CRM software.
  • Comfortable working in field-based and on-site settings, including customer locations, project sites, and nearby markets within the assigned area.
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to manage time well while working independently under sales team guidance.
  • Minimum qualification of a high school diploma; a diploma or degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Comfort with MS Office or similar basic computer tools; local language fluency and working English are preferred.
  • A valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license is needed for local travel.
