The role requires working with cable manufacturers, distributors, stockists, and traders to help verify compliance and product quality across the cable sector. The work involves regular travel within the country and abroad, offering a varied role with visible impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform management system and product audits across national and international locations while ensuring alignment with BASEC approval schemes and the Construction Products Regulation for cables.
  • Visit client sites to identify cable samples and observe testing activities, including medium-voltage, high-voltage, and fire testing.
  • Respond to client questions and provide technical input back to the Certification Office.
  • Evaluate audit findings, follow up on non-conformities, and keep records accurate and up to date.
  • Assist the Certification Team with audit planning, certificate decisions, and complaint handling.
  • Work with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics to complete and track audit documentation.

Requirements

  • Completion of a CQI/IRCA-recognised lead auditor course for ISO 9001 is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting targets.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • Availability to travel extensively within the UAE and overseas, with travel and auditing expected to take up around 80% of the working time.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Additional advantage: CQI/IRCA-recognised lead auditor training for ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001.
  • Additional advantage: prior experience in cable manufacturing and familiarity with cable standards.
  • Additional advantage: hands-on experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Additional advantage: knowledge of CPR and UKCA legal and technical requirements.

Compensation and Work Conditions

The role offers an annual salary of AED 198,000. The position is based on a 45-hour work week and is field-based, with frequent travel nationally and internationally.
