Junior Full Stack Developer

About the Role

ahead is creating a new generation of healthier snacks and making better choices easier without sacrificing taste. The company’s direct-to-consumer webshop, Shopify Plus setup, and internal systems are central to its growth, and this role helps strengthen the technology behind that foundation.

You will join as a Full Stack Developer with real ownership, partnering closely with E-Commerce, CRO, Marketing, and IT to turn ideas into fast, dependable, customer-facing solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and enhance the Shopify Plus storefront, including Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, theme structure, and custom features, while supporting work across checkout, cart journeys, apps, and customer interactions.
• Use AI-powered coding tools as part of your everyday workflow to speed up development, refine processes, and contribute to internal tools and automations that improve team productivity.
• Design and run A/B tests and conversion-focused improvements alongside the CRO and E-Commerce teams, then translate findings into practical changes that improve the shopping experience.
• Support the Shopify Plus tech stack through custom apps, Shopify Functions, APIs, tracking setups, and automation workflows.
• Improve speed, reliability, and scalability by working on Core Web Vitals, code quality, accessibility, and frontend performance.
• Collaborate across CRO, E-Commerce, Trade Marketing, and IT to convert business needs into clear technical solutions.

What You Bring

• 1–3+ years of experience creating web applications or e-commerce experiences, with ideally hands-on exposure to Shopify Plus, Liquid, themes, or Shopify APIs.
• Solid skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and modern frontend development; experience with React, Next.js, Remix, or Tailwind is a plus.
• A working style that actively includes AI tools, along with the ability to review, improve, and verify AI-assisted output; this is a core expectation for the role.
• A strong sense of ownership, comfort with independent work, and the ability to turn ideas into shipped features while knowing when to seek input.
• A pragmatic mindset focused on solving problems efficiently and choosing the right level of solution depth for the situation.
• Clear communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical colleagues, in English.
