Role overview
Omega Home Health Care Services, Inc. is expanding a modern analytics and process improvement function aimed at strengthening healthcare operations, reporting, productivity measurement, and overall efficiency. The Junior Data Analyst will be part of the Process Optimization & Analytics Division and will support data-driven operational work across billing, administration, workflow analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This opportunity is well-suited to a recent graduate or an early-career analyst who wants to build experience in operational analytics, healthcare systems, Power BI reporting, workflow design, automation, and strategic process improvement. The position works closely with the Process Optimization Engineer and company leadership to help create scalable operational systems.
Operational reporting and analytics
- Maintain KPI dashboards and help keep reporting outputs current.
- Build and update Excel-based operational reports.
- Support Power BI reporting tasks and data visualization work.
- Assist with productivity tracking and workflow analysis.
- Check reports for accuracy and ensure data remains consistent.
Workflow improvement and documentation
- Assist with documenting workflows and tracking operational activity.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and inconsistencies in reporting and processes.
- Support improvement efforts across administrative teams.
- Help maintain reporting and workflow structures that can scale with the business.
Dataverse and systems support
- Help support adoption of Dataverse-based workflows and tools.
- Assist with backend operational data handling.
- Contribute to automation and reporting initiatives using Microsoft Power Platform tools.
- Support enhancements to operational reporting and workflow optimization.
Ideal background and fit
Candidates with a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline are preferred. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. The team is looking for someone who enjoys solving operational problems, thinks in systems, likes organizing and improving processes, adapts quickly to new technology, and can turn data into practical insights.
Skills and qualifications
Strong Excel ability is important, along with a basic working knowledge of Power BI. Familiarity with SQL is preferred. The role also calls for strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, organization, communication, attention to detail, and consistency in process execution. The candidate should be able to learn operational systems quickly and work comfortably in a collaborative environment.
