Junior Data Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Junior Data Analyst to become part of our team. The role involves working with diverse datasets to uncover trends and support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Gathering, cleansing, and structuring data from various origins for analytical purposes.
• Examining datasets to pinpoint trends, patterns, and practical insights.
• Developing reports, dashboards, and visual representations for business stakeholders.
• Assisting in the tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) and essential business metrics.
• Providing support for ad-hoc data analysis and reporting needs.
• Maintaining and updating databases, spreadsheets, and reporting systems.
• Collaborating with different departments to understand their data requirements and business objectives.
• Contributing to the enhancement of data quality, accuracy, and reporting procedures.
• Supporting the creation of automated reports and dashboards as needed.
• Documenting data definitions, analytical methods, and reporting procedures.

Requirements

• Demonstrated strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions.
• A foundational understanding of SQL is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio is beneficial.
• A grasp of fundamental statistical principles and data analysis concepts.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring data accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork.
• The ability to interpret data effectively and present findings in a clear manner.
• A proactive attitude towards learning new tools and technologies.
• A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Business is preferred.
