About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Junior Data Analyst to become part of our team. Key Responsibilities
- Gathering, cleansing, and structuring data from various origins for analytical purposes.
- Examining datasets to pinpoint trends, patterns, and practical insights.
- Developing reports, dashboards, and visual representations for business stakeholders.
- Assisting in the tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) and essential business metrics.
- Providing support for ad-hoc data analysis and reporting needs.
- Maintaining and updating databases, spreadsheets, and reporting systems.
- Collaborating with different departments to understand their data requirements and business objectives.
- Contributing to the enhancement of data quality, accuracy, and reporting procedures.
- Supporting the creation of automated reports and dashboards as needed.
- Documenting data definitions, analytical methods, and reporting procedures.
Requirements
- Demonstrated strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions.
- A foundational understanding of SQL is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio is beneficial.
- A grasp of fundamental statistical principles and data analysis concepts.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring data accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork.
- The ability to interpret data effectively and present findings in a clear manner.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new tools and technologies.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Business is preferred.
